The Ambience
Our welcoming, homely and informal guesthouse situated in the heart of Sliema is a family-run friendly guesthouse, expressing the traditional hospitality that the Maltese are renowned for. For this reason we have managed to attract a large number of regular customers, some of whom we host regularly several times a year. Our service is always friendly as we consider this to be our utmost obligation towards our guests

Surrounding Amenities
The guesthouse is cosily tucked just a minute's walk to most amenities tourists normally seek such as shopping arcades, banks, exchange bureaus, restaurants, seafront cafeterias, pubs, supermarkets, pharmacies, churches, taxi stands, telephone booths and entertainment areas. The nearest bus stop is just round the corner from the guesthouse, with buses available to take you to any location in Malta, and the beach is just across the road.

The Guesthouse
The Soleado Guesthouse is a typical Maltese house converted into tourist accommodation, and offers a competitively priced alternative to hotel accommodation or self-catering apartments, however retaining some

of the original features, such as the spiral staircase. Apart from the guest rooms we also have a dining room which we currently utilise for breakfast service and evening meals

This same room also serves as TV room any time during the day or evening due to the reseption of satellite transmission channels. For those guests who would wish to cook their own meals, we have a well-equipped kitchen which can be utilised anytime during the day and evening.

We also have a well-stocked bar which enjoys the custom of residents, locals and tourists alike. The guesthouse is also equipped with an elevator to all the floors together with sun-deck and sun-bathing facilities.

The Gaelic Pub
Our well-stocked bar is called "The Gaelic Pub". And this is due to the fact that we have family relations and friends in Ireland, Scotland and Wales.

Our watering hole as some of our long-time regular foreign customers call it, is heavily stocked not only in the way of alcoholic spirits, beverages etc, but also in the way of remembrance gifts left over by the patrons as evidence of their affinity with our small but very welcoming and comfortable bar.

Apart from the standard equipment one finds in a bar, we also have a satellite TV to complement the wishes of the various foreigners who patronise the bar hence as the saying goes - "home away from home" - through the TV.
